The 73 VW Thing is now for sale. It runs and drives great.
The body is in good shape, very little rust, floor pans are solid paint is mostly original . New windshield, new soft top , new front seats foam cushion. It has a stock 1600 engine that runs great. The brakes system was redone with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, rubber lines, main steel lines, front drums and wheel bearings ...). Brand new tires. Original gas heater included , but never tested.
The 7 seater sunroof microbus is a very complete vehicle but not yet running. It still has the 2.0 fuel injected engine with A/C. The body is in really good shape with just some rust in the battery tray area.
The interior is in great shape, the sunroof needs new cables to be functional.
This 78 Westy Berlin came originally equipped with a 2 burners gaz stove and an electric fridge. It is a non-running project that will require a fair amount of mechanical and body work, but these late bay Westfalia are the best for camping. It has the original 2L engine and trans, and is only missing a few interior pieces.
This 1973 mini-woody has an automatic transmission and was running 5 years ago when it got parked to replace the windshield. The engine turns by hand, and still has the fuel injection. It has the typical type 3 rust but body is in good shape and pans are solid. It has a clear Oklahoma title.
